No, we didn't see this one coming. 

Every year when when Easter rolls around it's wall-to-wall chocolate and hot cross buns. There's even chocolate in the hot cross buns. But hot cross bun chocolate? 

KitKat, the brand with an ever-changing amazing array of more than 30 flavours, has introduced a limited edition Hot Cross Bun KitKat bar. It's got the usual choc-and-wafer construction, but spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, studded with currants. And of course, a white choc cross.

It's being sold solo or in a pack along with two other flavours, Reimagined Lamington; and Almond Brittle & Salted Caramel Popcorn. We mention this because it gives us a reason to show you this. Look like the KitKat team had fun with the photo shoot. (That's the lamington bars lining up with the bunnies).

Back to the Hot Cross Bun choc. The good news is it's available from today until April 16. The bad news is that it's only available from The KitKat Chocolatory in Melbourne. And they don't mail order. Yes, we asked.
