The Australian Border Force has confirmed nine adults and 11 children were transferred off Nauru for medical reasons on Monday.
Border Force deputy commissioner Mandy Newton says the transfer means 52 children and 107 families remain on Nauru.
Ms Newton says 652 people are on the Pacific island and 541 have been granted refugee status.
It comes amid growing calls for the Federal Government to accept New Zealand's offer to take 150 refugees from Nauru.
The Coalition has indicated it may accept that offer if new laws are passed to stop people sent to offshore detention from ever travelling to Australia.
