Melbourne Writers’ Festival is holding an event at and in collaboration with the Immigration Museum on Sunday August 26. Three Arabic speakers will be part on this brave and diverse spoken word Sunday Salon line-up.

Event co-host Nour Abouzeid is currently in the US competing in the World Slam Poetry championships. Composer, artist, multi-instrumentalist and performance post Meena Shamaly. And well-known spoken word poet and writer . We would love to get one of these performers on-air to talk about this very diverse event. This first ever Sunday Salon at Melbourne’s Immigration Museum is going to be a wonderful night of a social gathering inspired by language, words and storytelling.

This is an interview in Arabic with Farah Beaini.
