Nostalgia in migrants poetry

Nostalgia Poetry

الشاعر صباح عبد الله Source: Sabah Abdallah

After many years of adopting Australia as home feeling nostalgic to the homeland is not an isolated experience among migrants. They tend to express this feeling through different ways, one of them being poetry.

Sabah Abdallah is an Australian from Lebanese background who launches his third poetry book in Melbourne.

He arrived to Australia forty-six years ago but still thinks about his childhood in a village in Northern Lebanon.

In his new book, he expresses his love to home, old and new.
