Many of us will take advantage of weekends and school holidays to spend time outdoors, at the beach, in parks and out bush during summer.


While it's a great way to explore our country, there are a few precautions to take to stay safe.

The sun is shining and the school holidays are fast approaching.

Australia has over ten thousand beaches that you can access for free.

While we saw a reduction of drownings around the country last year, they still made 249 victims.

Migrants and international visitors tend to be at high risk because they're not familiar with the conditions, like big waves and rips.
