Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) recently approved Bangla as a VCE language study.

Bangladeshi Community in Victoria has long been making an effort to obtain approval for Bangla language as LOTE (Languages Other Than English) subject in VCE. Now, the Australian Government has taken the decision to include Bangla in Secondary Level for all over Australia.

The President of the Victorian Bangladeshi Community Foundation Ms Nusrat Islam Borsha and Western Region Bangla School VCE coordinator Mr Hasan Naim Miraz spoke to SBS Bangla about it.
