Under the COVID-19 pandemic, more digitisation is taking place in various industries and some existing jobs are being lost.


A key target in 2021-2022 federal budget is to reduce Australia's unemployment rate to 4.5% by 2023-2025.

What will the government do to meet its goal of reducing unemployment rate? How many jobs will probably need to be created? Dr Wei Li, Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School, shares her analysis.

Dr Li also highlights the professions and occupations that will be more competitive after the federal budget.
