Het Torentje in The Hague will soon be vacated. The Rutte IV governement fell on Friday because the coalition parties were unable to agree on asylum policy. Outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte also announced yesterday that he is leaving politics. So exciting and uncertain times ahead in the Netherlands, according to Eva Schenk, former parliamentary assistant and clerk.
