Australian Ambassador highlights ‘beneficial’ Soil Cooperation with the Philippines on Friendship Day

In celebration of the 78th anniversary of Philippine-Australia Friendship Day, Australian Ambassador to the Philippines HK Yu highlighted the outcomes of the agricultural collaboration between the two countries.

Last December, a delegation of government officials, congressmen, and academicians from the Philippines visited Australia for a Soil Study Tour.
According to Ambassador HK Yu, one of the benefits of the agreement is the increase in income for local farmers in the Philippines.
One of those assisting in improving Philippine agriculture is soil expert Dr. Johnvie Goloran a Filipino-Australian from the Indigenous community in Agusan del Sur.
