International students Dianne Bernardez and Abbygale Inovejas felt helpless when they first heard the news that they have been stood down from their casual jobs in a cafe in Melbourne’s Central Business District.

Making matters worse -  their families back in the Philippines were cash- strapped as a result of their businesses closing down due to Coronavirus.

They cooked siomai (pork dumplings) and started selling it on social media to help tide them over until things get better. Listen in.
