We already know that music can have beneficial effects on , and maybe event ... So, why not give it a try with cheese? This is the thought process of Swiss cheesemaker Beat Wampfler, who is working on a study with researchers from Haute école des arts de Berne.

If we think about the many factors affecting the taste of cheese, the idea is not that crazy. “I am convinced that humidity, temperature or nutrients are not the only things that influence taste… Sounds, ultrasounds or music can also have physical effects,” said.

The team has put wheels of Emmenthal cheese in different boxes with music from Mozart, Led Zeppelin and A Tribe Called Quest.
The process will be done by mid-March 2019, which will be the moment of truth. "I hope the hip-hop cheese will be the best. I would like this because it would give us the possibility to connect with young people. And maybe people who are not usually interested in cheese would start to want to buy some," said.
