France is visiting Sydney's Shangri-La Hotel from 11 October to 1 November for "Bonaparte Dinner".

A menu steeped in history and concocted by Christophe Moret, two Michelin stars and celebrity chef at the restaurant L'Abeille of the Paris Shangri-La.

Paying homage to the fashions and heritage of the era, dishes will be served à la française and include Shellfish Bisque with Foie Gras, Cape Grim Filet de Boeuf with Green Peas and Saint Honoré with Wild Berries.

Expect to enter another era, waiters, atmosphere, decoration, menus, dishes will transport you back in French history.

Shangri-La Sydney CEO Philippe Kronberg said he was “honoured to present such a unique epicurean adventure, which links two world-renowned cities and two world-renowned hotels, in the finest Shangri-La culinary tradition.”
