Koalas and kangaroos are usually in the limelight, but the highly endangered giant glider (Petauroides) is at least as fascinating. With his big eyes, cuddly ears and an impressively long tail, he is one of Australia's most exciting inhabitants. Environmentalists rely on innovative technologies to ensure their survival.
