The Austrian conductor Hans Graf is an award-winning conductor and has conducted various successful orchestras worldwide. Graf has been the director of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra since 2020 and will perform with the orchestra again in Australia at the Sydney Opera House on February 12 next year for the first time since 2016. SBS reporter Benjamin Kanthak met with the conductor and talked with him, among other things, about the combination of Eastern and Western music, the challenges of Singapore as a location, and his methodology for forming an orchestra.
