Angela Pirdas, one of the longest serving members of our Program dies

It is with great sadness that we report that one of the longest serving members of the Greek Program at SBS Radio, Ms Angela Pirdas has died.

In the last few years, Angela was suffering from cancer. She passed away last night (Monday) at a Melbourne Hospital.

We send our most sincere condolences to her daughter Ann and the rest f the family.

Angela started with the program in 1979 (it was 3EA in Melbourne back then). She retired,  in 2013.
