The profile of the Greek diaspora, according to recent research

Kapa Research conducted a survey of 12,000 people of Greek origin (4,000 residents of Greece, 8,000 Greeks of Diaspora) to explore the components of Hellenism.

Below is an extract from the presentation in Washington by Kapa Research: 

 

Who are the Greeks of Diaspora?

• Economically active middle and upper class, well off, and technologically literate

• Mostly satisfied with life and very optimistic about the future

• Religious and fairly close to the Church

• Pro-West, free-market centrists and socially liberal

• Lawful and respectful of institutions in their country of residence
