$400.000 raised form the Archdiocese’s appeal for the fire victims in Greece

The appeal for the victims in Greece, organised by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia has so far attracted more than $400.000.


The Archdiocese in a press release said that the appeal is still running and those interested to contribute can deposit their amount in the accounts that have been opened with Delphi Bank, National Australia Bank and Bank of Sydney.

In the same release, the Archdiocese says that in the coming weeks the names of the donors and amount given will be publicised.

Archbishop Mr Makarios has thanked personally all those who donated and all who participate din the organisation of the appeal.
