Consecration and cutting of the Vasilopita in the Greek schools of Western Australia

School events that had as main feature the Consecration, the cutting of the traditional New Year's cake and the wishes for a constructive year, in the Greek community of Perth.


The enrolment period at St Andrew's Greek Orthodox School closes next Wednesday, March 1, with the number of students so far standing at 716 and possibly reaching 720. An increase of around 40 pupils from last year's number of 680.

The Consecration at the school was celebrated last Friday, February 17, by The Most Reverend Bishop of Kyane with the assistance of Father Eleftherios.
