The first official meeting between the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW and Australia’s new Greek-Orthodox Archbishop Mr. Makarios took place yesterday (Thursday) at the central offices of the Archdiocese in Sydney’s Redfern suburb.


According to an announcement from the Archdiocese the meeting was constructive and two parties expressed their will to move forward with love and unity.

The Community’s delegation was led by its president Mr. Harry Danalis, who was accompanied by Vice-President Ms. Ourania Karteris, Secretary Mr. Michael Tsilimos and Treasures Mr. Chris Belerhas.
