Greece’s plans to expand its territorial waters to 12 nautical miles would be a cause for war, Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay said on Saturday.

Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay called on the European Union for equity amid ongoing tensions with Greece in the eastern Mediterranean and said moves by Athens in the disputed waters constituted a "casus belli”.

"If the Greek attempts to expand its territorial waters isn't a cause of war, then what is?"  in an exclusive interview.
