Greek elderly people are being abused even by their children

Many Greek elderly people in Australia often fall victim to abuse. Not so much physical, but economic abuse.


Many older people, mostly women, are sometimes forced by their children to even sell their homes in Greek community, in Australia. 

On the occasion of yesterday's International Day against the Abuse of Elderly People, Pronia's educator Antonis Maglis, referred to incidents of elderly expatriates who are victims of economic abuse.
