The French influence on the work of Nikos Kazantzakis

The Melbourne branch of the International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis has organised a lecture on the French influence on Nikos Kazantzakis' work on Wednesday 9 August at the Greek Centre in Melbourne.


The speaker is Dr. Alfred Vincent, lecturer in the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies, at the University of Sydney.

The event will take place at the Hellenic Centre, 168 Lonsdale St, in the centre of Melbourne.

Yiannis Milides, coordinator of the Melbourne branch of the International Society of Friends Nikos Kazantzakis, spoke to SBS Greek about the Society, Nikos Kazantzakis' universal appeal and how his work was influenced by the French culture and ideas.
