UN forecasts virus will cost global economy a trillion dollars

The economic uncertainty the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic has sparked is likely to cost the global economy a trillion dollars in 2020.



The United Nation's trade and development agency has issued its forecast as markets tumble around the world.

The UN Trade and Development Agency is warning that few countries are  likely to be left unscathed by the COVID-19 outbreak’s financial ramifications.
