US foreign policy: What to expect with D. Trump at the wheel

The re-election of Donald Trump to the US presidency heralds a new era in relations between the world's largest economy and the rest of the world. How will Australia-US relations be reshaped, or the relations with Greece and Cyprus. Greek-American geopolitical strategist, and former special adviser to the Diplomatic Academy of the State Department, John Sytilidis, shares his valuable insight.

Marco Rubio has been selected to take over as US Secretary of State in the incoming Trump administration. This is very good news for Greece and Cyprus, as the Republican senator from Florida, has been an ardent supporter of Greek and Cypriot national issues.

Regardless, however, of who will eventually be selected to serve on Donald Trump's staff for matters concerning foreign policy, defense, and national security, the White House, ultimately, has the first and final say in making these policies. So, what should the adversaries and friends of the United States expect, with Donald Trump in the White House.
