અમેરિકા અને ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયામાં થયેલ એક પ્રયોગ પછી તબીબોને તેમના દર્દીને એસ્પીરીનની દવા આપવાનું ટાળવાનું કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે.વર્ષોથી હ્રદય રોગ અટકાવવા વપરાતી એસ્પીરીનની દવા વિષે શું જાણવા મળ્યું આ અભ્યાસમાં?

The findings of a groundbreaking clinical trial in Australia and the United States has found the blood-thinning drug does not prolong the life of healthy patients, nor reduce their risk of a first heart attack. 

The Australian-led clinical trial involved 19,000 participants over the age of 70 who had never suffered a heart attack or stroke.

Almost 4 percent of the trial participants who took aspirin experienced some kind of serious bleeding, a well-known side effect of the medication.

The study demands a review of aspirin use.
