Adiel Cohney made Aliyah from Melbourne to Israel 8 years ago, together with his 'Gar'in' from Habonim Dror. Adiel tells us about the life-changing move from the comforts of Australia to the exciting challenges of life in Israel, and about living life in Hebrew including his current acting studies at Bet Zvi.

Adiel is currently playing a leading role in Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues, and concurrently working on his own Hebrew translation of 'Hibernation', a futuristic play by Australian playwright Finnegan Kruckemeyer. Adiel is comments on the war in Israel and the recent antisemitic outbreak in Australia, but still believes there is reason to hope.
