7 Australian universities named among world’s top universities

QS World University Rankings names 7 Australian universities in top 100. Here's the list.

The Australian National University has been named among the world's top 20 universities in reputed released on Thursday.

ANU has been rated 20th best in the world based on its academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.
Other Australian universities who made it to the top 100 list include University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, University of Queensland, University of Sydney, Monash University and The University of Western Australia.

While University of Melbourne ranked at number 41, Monash University ranked at number 60 and University of Western Australia ranked 93.

In world rankings, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University and Harvard University maintained their rank as top 3 universities in the world.
