Adelaide celebrates a multicultural Diwali

Deepavali Carnival transformed Adelaide Showgrounds into a multicultural marketplace featuring a variety of authentic Indian food and market stalls, traditional and multicultural performances from Rangoli artworks with vibrant colored sands, henna tattoo makers, dance competition, Photo booth, face painting for children.

The carnival by truly a multicultural in nature where Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Fiji, Bhutan showcased there cultural performances. The Carnival was attended by Hon Premier of South Australia Jay Weatherill and other leaders from labour and liberal parties along with Indian Consulate general. Here are some pictures:
