Popular Indian restaurant robbed at knifepoint

A knife-wielding robber struck at the Indian Restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon.

One of the popular Indian restaurant chains in Australia - Miss India, was robbed on Sunday noon in Brisbane.

According to a report in , a man armed with two knives entered the Miss India outlet on Kelvin Grove near Brisbane CBD just after 12 noon.

He threatened the two staff members, demanded them to hand over cash and fled on foot after the robbery.
No one was injured during the incident.

The staff members have described the knife-wielding robber as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s with a solid build. He was wearing black clothing, including a black baseball cap and sunglasses, they told Police.
