Swati Vats, a civil engineer and an artist knew since childhood that humour is interwoven into the fabric of our everyday existence.Sunanda, a media production professional after spending years in various countries realised her knack for comedy on her friends advice. Speaking with SBS Hindi, these Melbourne artists share how their identities, and the passion for comedy have broken down the barriers to acceptance. Their act 'Brown Women Comedy' along with other brown comedians highlighting the funny side of being different featured in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2022.
