Melbourne fake doctor's details released by authorities

A fake doctor has allegedly been working at a cosmetic clinic in Melbourne's western suburb since 2013.

A fake doctor has allegedly been working at a cosmetic clinic in Melbourne's west since January 2013 until October 2016.

Phoebe Pacheco allegedly treated patients without a medical registration at Werribee Cosmetic Clinic, reports .

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) has sent out letters to 145 patients.

These patients have been urged to contact APHRA with any concerns and consult with a registered medical practitioner.

AHPRA executive director of strategy and policy Chris Robertson and Department of Health and Human Services acting chief health officer Dr Brett Sutton addressed the media on Tuesday afternoon.
