Zakhir Khan and his wife left their three children inside a car on a hot day.
Their lawyer Hijaz Khan told media that “Of course they are remorseful. They shouldn’t have done that but unfortunately it happened.”

Keeping in mind that the children were vulnerable and put at risk the magistrate didn’t considered good behaviour bond for the parents.
Instead, the parents of the children have each received a $500 fine and a criminal record.
