Rateb Meuseukat dance: It's so intense

Rateb Meuseukat dance is a traditional dance originated from Aceh. This dance is similar to the Saman Dance, but what distinguishes are the movement, song poetry, accompaniment, and dancers.

This beautiful Rateb Meuseukat dance along with Jubilate Choir is one of the performances in ASYIK - Indonesian Arts & Culture Bazaar event by Suara Indonesia Dance group, held in Marrickville NSW on 23 June 2018. Jubilate Choir is a free community choir based in Dulwich Hill and led by Joanna Brooke.
