Suara Dance (formerly Suara Indonesia Dance) Group presents an energetic fusion of dance, body percussion and songs with modern Indonesian nuances in Australia.


Alfira O'Sullivan is Artistic Director and choreographer of Murtala preserving traditional and folkloric dances as well as creating new works based on traditional movements for Suara Dance Group.

With a blend of traditional and contemporary influences from Indonesian heritage and Australian education, Suara Dance Group delivers excitement, originality and captivating performances on stage at all times.

Suara Dance also offers school workshops, children's and adult classes, teaching resources, entertainment bookings (such as festivals and events).
