Eleonora Mollica's plan was to return to Italy after her wedding, but at the outbreak of the pandemic down under the return flight was canceled.

Eleonora Mollica arrived in Australia, in Geelong (Victoria), in October 2019 to get married with her partner she met in Italy.

After the wedding, celebrated in January, the plan was to start the procedures for a visa with her partner and return to Italy pending a permanent return to Australia.

However, the plans have been completely changed by the spread of the coronavirus pandemic down under: Eleonora and her parents' return flights to Italy have been canceled and the three are facing various challenges to return home: from the search for alternative flights, to their visa expiring.

The interview with Eleonora Mollica was recorded on March 26, 2020, some details of her testimony have been overcome by events, due to a situation that remains fluid and constantly changing for many Italians in Australia.
