South Korea on Monday defeated Myanmar 2-0 in the ongoing AFC Women's Asian Cup in India's south-western state of Maharashtra.

Both goals came in the second half, with Lee Geum-min and Ji So-yun each on target as South Korea dominated the game.

South Korea will take on Japan for the group top.

In the day's next matches, Australia takes on the Philippines, Indonesia plays Thailand and Japan locks horns with Vietnam.
