Two years ago, we had a conversation with a young Ezidi who was living in a refugee camp in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He expressed a strong interest in photography and aspired to purchase his own camera in the future. A year later, Rami Alali relocated to Armidale, Australia, with his family. We reached out to Rami to inquire whether he had achieved his dream of owning a camera since his arrival in Australia. Rami shared that he had indeed fulfilled his aspiration and was currently enrolled at TAFE to improve his English language, enabling him to pursue a career in photography.
