Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed in October, is the focus of our discussion with Dr. Maryam Akrawi from Melbourne. This disease significantly impacts many women across Australia, with a smaller number of men also being affected. On average, approximately 57 Australians receive a breast cancer diagnosis each day, culminating in over 20,000 new cases annually.
