Federal Government slowly phases out coronavirus pandemic support payments

The new year has brought a gradual decrease in coronavirus pandemic financial support payments. Both JobSeeker and JobKeeper payments have been reduced as 2.2 million Australians search for a job or more hours of work. The Federal Government insists the economy "is opening up" as welfare groups warn more Australians could fall into unemployment.
