Young mum Marija Macri, inspired by her own father, the former Macedonian athlete Stefce Georgievski, is preparing to run 70 km marathon on 27 September as part of STEPtember, Australian health and wellness fundraising event, supporting life-changing cerebral palsy research, shining light on individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy and bringing awareness to the community. To her son Mrac, strapped to a wheelchair with cerebral palsy, Marija is a real-life superheroine, providing him with best possible life by focusing daily, not on the disability put on his body or the weaknesses, but his strengths and his fun-loving personality.
