Празнична женска носија - Горна Преспа

“Pafti” was a specific element of Macedonian traditional costume which was worn around the waist as a belt. Its symbolic meaning was related to the reproductive period in women. Pafti in the Struga region was especially notable for its beauty and refinement as it was made out of pearls.
