New study suggests paracetamol not as effective a painkiller as has been thought

A new Australian study suggests paracetamol may be no better than a placebo [[pluh-SEE-bo]] when it comes to treating a wide range of pain conditions. Researchers say initial trials have found the drug was effective in treating only a handful of maladies.
