WHO backs AstraZeneca vaccine - even against virus variants

The World Health Organisation's panel is backing the AstraZeneca vaccine, suggesting it be deployed widely even in countries where coronavirus variants have emerged. The group is pushing for an evaluation of COVID-19 variants and how they might hinder vaccine success as debate continues about the worldwide rollout.
