Australian retailers are rejoicing as families spend up in a big way for Easter.


The Retailers Association predicts Australians will consume 5 kilograms of chocolate each this Easter, with NSW residents the biggest spenders, shelling out 500-million dollars in total - or 104 dollars per person!

All that is good news for second generation chocolatier Paul Adam, co-owner of Du Plessy Pralin.

He says Australians are traveling again and taking sweet treats with them.
