Flying kites is one of the fun aspects of Dashain. As a seasonal business, how does the kite business fare outside the Dashain season? In addition to this Dev Kumar Khadgi, a Kathmandu-based businessman who has been selling kites for a long time, spoke to Nepal correspondent Prayas Dulal about the demand for kites in recent years and the challenges of preserving the tradition of kite flying with time.
