Following the establishment of the Australian Nepalese Multicultural Centre (ANMC) in Melbourne and the Queensland Nepalese Cultural Centre (QNCC) in Queensland, Nepali communities across Australia are working towards establishing multicultural centres in various states and territories. Sydney is the next city set to have its own, with the launch of the Greater Sydney Nepalese Multicultural Centre (GSNMC) organisation. GSNMC spokesperson Shiva Banjara spoke to SBS Nepali about the plans to build a mini Nepal in Sydney.
