Five years ago, Melbourne resident Prerna Malla embarked on a motorcycle journey to Upper Mustang, which, in her view, is a response to male dominance in Nepal. Her father, Prem Malla, stood by her on a dirt bike ride to Upper Mustang as she had been excluded from the trip by a group of contemporary male relatives. The same father-daughter duo, Prerna and Prem Malla spoke to SBS Nepali and recounted the challenges and cherished memories of their journey to Upper Mustang.
