Women right activists of Nepal complain that the women from the entertainment industy are excluded by the state, even while celebrating International Women's Day on March 8. Srijana Pun, one of the founders of Women for Women Forum, says the society still sees female folk singers working in a restaurant (Dohori Ghar) as sex workers and social outcasts.
