Harinder Sandhu wins South Australian Squash Championship

Indian squash player Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu has won the South Australian Squash Championship held in Adelaide on 8th July. It was Sandhu’s eighth Professional Squash Association (PSA) career title.

India’s Harinder Pal Sing Sandhu has lifted the men’s title at the South Australian Open Squash held in Adelaide over the last weekend.

Sandhu ranked 77th in the world faced Australia’s Rhys Dowling who was playing his third final in a row.

The final score was 11-8 12-10 11-4 in Sandhu’s favour.  

Sandhu defeated top-seed Piedro Schweertman of the Netherlands 11-9 14-12 7-11 11-9 in the semi-final of this PSA World Tour event.

It was Sandhu's eighth title at the PSA level and the third this season after winning two in Malaysia in the month of May.
