28-year-old Indian-origin man Tinu Thomas was found dead in a car in a public car park in Rowville in Melbourne on Friday.

Tinu had been missing since Tuesday. Police while issuing an appeal to the public for assistance, had described his disappearance out of character and stated that he had a medical condition.

Police said they did not believe the death was suspicious.
Tinu was living with his parents in Rowville suburb in Southeast of Melbourne.
Friends described him as a caring individual who had a "noble soul".

Tinu's parents Thomas George and Annie are originally from Alappuzha in Kerala, and have lived in South Africa for many years before moving to Australia.

Tinu’s body is likely to be taken to Alappuzha for last rites.
